Dr Jerzy Tarnawski received his medical degree from Wroclaw Medical University, Poland, in 1975. He initiated his clinical practice and gained valuable experience working at Alice Springs Hospital, NT, and top-tier hospitals in Perth, WA.
Following that, Dr Tarnawski also set up his own medical center in Toorak Melbourne and finally settled in Hobart, TAS, joining Long Beach Medical Centre.
Jerzy is a veteran and an expert at conducting complex procedures. As a GP in Long Beach, he mainly specializes in non-invasive laser acupuncture and pain management. He also served at a Postgraduate Medical Centre in Poland and a Specialist Medical Centre in Austria, which equipped him with a diverse experience.

Robin is an experienced general practitioner renowned for his exceptional skills and extensive experience. He graduated with honours from Sydney University in 1974 and has over 50 years experience in medical practice all over the world with experience in musculoskeletal medicine and laser acupuncture, Robin has worked as a GP all over the world on evey continent including Antarctica. He has also been a solicitor/barrister in the Supreme Court of Tasmania having completed his Law and Legal Practice degree in 2008. He is not available for Mental Health Care Plans. He does not prescribe opiates, strong pain medicines, or sedatives such as Valium.
Dr Robin Dubow
Dr Vimarshani Hewageegana graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2019. She went on to obtain the MRCGP (INT) in 2024 and completed her MD in Family Medicine in 2025. She has academic experience as a former Lecturer in Family Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.
Her special interests include Aged Care, Non-Communicable Disease Management, Women’s Health, and Mental Health. She places special emphasis on lifestyle modification and smoking cessation counselling as key components of preventative care. Dr Hewageegana and her colleagues were awarded the ISCOMS World Health Award in the Netherlands in 2016 for their undergraduate research on third-hand smoking.
In her free time, she enjoys reading and exploring Australia with her family.

Her clinical interests include chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular risk), acute presentations, complex adult medicine, preventive health and screening, women’s health and care coordination. She also has a strong interest in geriatric medicine and palliative care, providing compassionate, holistic support for older adults.
Dr Gupta is committed to evidence-based practice, thorough assessment, and clear communication, supporting patients with personalized and long-term healthcare.
Dr Gupta speaks English, Hindi, and Punjabi, allowing her to support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds with comfort and confidence.
Dr Pulak Gupta
Dr. Asanka earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, in 2013.
With over a decade of experience in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Asanka has been a dedicated member of the medical team at the Royal Hobart Hospital. He has a particular interest in paediatric care and acute medical emergencies.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Asanka enjoys travelling and has a passion for music.
